This is the first in a series of bi-weekly meetings held by the ACM.
At each meeting there will be a different speaker talking on an
interesting topic in computer science. For our initial meeting, Jason
Hise will be speaking about the user of the Visual Studio debugger and
some other helpful tools provided with the Visual Studio suite. Also
there will be a short introduction to the ACM officers and we'll lay
out our plans for the year.

3) Local Programming Contest

Come out and compete against your fellow CS students in a programming
contest. Your analytical and problem solving skills will be
challenged in this exciting contest. All skill levels are welcome,
but you must be able to use C, C++, or Java to compete. Prizes will
be awarded to the top contestants. Lunch will be provided by the ACM.
Top finishers will be eligible to represent BGSU at the ACM Regional
Programming Contest in early November. To sign up, please email Mark
Randles (randlem@bgsu.edu) with your name.

at BGSU CampusFest on Friday, September 8, 2006. ACM officers will be
on hand to answer your questions and provide more information on
upcoming events.
